Hi, I’m 千明 (Chiaki, meaning a thousand lights!), a graduate student in Japan, majoring in language education.
(And yes, I do love Matcha tea:))

In todays digital age, having the ability to type has become increasingly important. Even in Japan, we rarely have the chance to write anything by hand anymore (except perhaps when filling in addresses on documents?).

But heres the exciting part: Now, if you have a general sense of how a vocabulary word sounds and how its written in kanji, you can express yourself in Japanese simply by typing. All you need to do is choose the correct kanji conversion.

Please keep in mind that Matcha is still a work in progress, as I am currently in the process of learning programming. However, I am fully committed to assisting you in your Japanese learning journey.
